Tobject, the jewelry pieces you chose were at very low margins (one was a negative, the other less than 5%) that I could not do. I know it is disappointing that I can't match every deal request. Sometimes there are circumstances, like a low margin or low quantity, that just make it impossible for me to get permission for those particular price drops. I am sorry that the margins on these items was a limiting factor this time.

Luckily, coupons are designed around the average of all of our products, not a particular one. There are different limitation for those types of promotions - one of the benefits of particular price drops is I can sometimes take 25-30% of an item, which is not somewhere we will normally ever be able to sustain a coupon, whereas a coupon can offer a broader range of items at a certain "acceptable" loss.

I also was able to view the link you wanted to provide me, and where you were looking to was showing a "discount" on a sold out piece on their site. There are a lot of sites that are not on top of things like they are here at Deal Hunting, which is one of the reasons I want to share my time and help customers in this forum. I want to take this time to say "Thank You!" to Kathy and the other great people that help work this forum with me, and help provide the great deals from Overstock on a daily basis.

Tobject, I believe taking advantage of a coupon or deal of the day would be the best way to help come close to what you are looking for for either, or both, of those beautiful pieces. I am sorry I couldn't do more to help your specific requests, but I hope this information will help give you the best edge to get the best deal. That's what I am looking out for - I want to help customers like yourself find the best deals possible with whatever tools we have. The best discount I can do on the 11-in-1 Deluxe Family Game Center is about $20. That would have the price in the $125-$130 range. This is higher than the price you saw it at Target for, which makes their offer a better deal for you. I'm sorry I couldn't beat that price this time!

I have really been looking for an MP3 Player for my wife. I want one that takes SDs up to at least 512MB, FM tuner and voice record. She also wants a small one. The battery should also be able to be replaced or recharged. Not sure of brands yet, but want good quality. Let me know what you can do and I will take a look. Beth, I took a quick look to see if a deal was even possible on any of the movies, but there’s no deals I can even do on these. Unfortunately, the model for our Books, Movies, etc is designed that doing discounts is virtually impossible. However, there will be a weekend coupon coming up on Friday which will save you a little bit on the order – a 10% off discount will get you just about $20 for the first two titles, so I’d recommend waiting a day or 2 for that to come out.

Just remember one important thing - media items are sent by USPS and can take up to 3 weeks to be delivered. If you need them in time for the holiday, you may want to explore the possibility of expedited shipping (especially considering the heavy load the post office has this time of year). Just want to give you a heads up

Usfacs, I spoke with the gentleman that runs the electronics department, and he said there are a few factors that are involved with your choice. If you are looking for an player that can play MP3’s burned onto CD’s, that’s one type of player (most have FM). If you’re looking for one that will take USB and transfers from your desktop/laptop, they’re in another type of category (and most do not have FM from what I’ve seen).

I personally recommend checking out the searches for all MP3 players at Overstock. This should help you narrow down the type, and price range you’re looking for.
