Mother's Day is Sunday May 14th!
This is a project I did with my Sunday School class last year for Mother's Day. They came out great and I didn't have to buy a single supply ... it was all stuff I had on hand.
Supplies:
Sheet of Paper (any color)
Markers or Crayons
Glue
Recycled Silk Flowers -- stripped down to silk flowers (no centers) and leaves
Recycled Buttons -- any shape or size!
Draw a vase (any shape or size) at the bottom of your page.
Glue the silk flowers on the paper anywhere above your vase.
Glue the buttons onto the flowers for centers.
Draw in stems from your vase to the flowers.
Add leaves from your silk flowers, or draw them on.
Voila!
Our church had tons of old silk flowers laying around (some little old lady loved to decorate with them.)

So this was a great way to re-use them. And the kids liked the project a lot ... and so did the moms!
