Question Baptismal gift?

My nephew (he’s 2 months old) is being baptized into the Catholic Church this weekend. I come from a Protestant tradition so don’t know much about the customs. I do remember hearing once about a baptismal gift, but I have no clue about what to do! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

go to lillianvernon.com and look for baptism gifts, they have cute one and most can be personalized. Also check personalcreations for the same. Those places should give you an idea. If everything else fails, a gift card or money are never off place

I always give a savings bond. It's something that they can use in the future towards school or whatever

I think a savings bond is a GREAT idea! you can get a voucher saying the amount and that it is on its way since you wont have time to get it back before the shower. They are reasonable too, for a $50 savings bond it only costs 25$. So half of what you want the value to be.

Otherwise i have given piggy banks, love it when you can personalize it. or other personalized gifts like a embroidered blanket with their name on it. something that can be a keepsake!

Have fun deciding!
