Happy Halloween!!

Have a SAFE and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Its going to be a COLD one here, upper 20s to low 30s for tonight with a brisk wind! i think the costumes will have winter coats over them.

If you have kids what are they going to be?????????

MY 5.5 yr old is going to be charmeleon, a pokemon. and my 23mth old is Blue from blues clues. he doesnt really like the hood up though.

It is sooooooo cold here too! My kids are going to be Bumble Bees. At 3 and 13 months they think dressing alike is fun so two bumble bees for me! Nice thick costumes that we can layer lots of warmth under - for once my planning ahead worked! Snow boots for the feet of course - brrrrrrr, lots of snow on the ground and more coming tomarrow.

It's 74 out now, and it's only supposed to get to 70 tonight so the kids will have perfect trick or treating weather!

My 8 year old is going as a cheerleader. She hasn't quite figured out how she's going to carry the big pom poms and her treat bag. (I'd say that I will be the one carrying the pom poms!)

My daughter was a cheerleader when she was 1 and we just tied the pom-pons to a string and she "carried" them that way. You could do the same thing. Drape the string around her shoulders or tie them around her waist or tie them to the treat bucket.

Great idea Karin, thanks! I wasn't looking forward to carrying around pom poms all night!

I have no little ones to go trick-or-treating - but I still wanted to say "Happy Halloween" to everybody. Stay safe and have fun!

Happy Halloween! I like Halloween but haven't had more than ten trick-or-treaters total in over 15 years! Oh, well, someone has to eat that candy I buy every year!

Would you believe that in 10 years we have never had one single kid come for Halloween? There are no kids on our street and the apartment complex that is next to our house isn't so hot so I wouldn't even take my kid or grandkid over there. Good thing is we save alot of money and any candy we do buy we get to eat. LOL. Did take our Grandson out to pick out his costume. He's Frodo from Lord of the Rings. We don't take him around for Halloween, there's more houses and kids where he lives but I enjoyed being the one to help him pick out his costume.
