I just started watching that and I really like it. I didn't think I would but I was pleasantly surprised. Definately one of the few on my "watch" list. I still like the old favorite Everybody Loves Raymond.

My favorite show has been "Dead Like Me" on Showtime. Not only because it is a great show, but also because it made me think about how I was living my life and if I would be satisfied if I gave up the ghost tomorrow. How many shows can claim to have that effect on people?

I ended up making a few small changes, but the biggest change was to spend some exclusive time with our 5-year old daughter. We now spend one morning a week going out to breakfast (often a Waffle place - for those who are fans of the show), followed by a trip to the park, where we play either "Adventure Fish" (a game she made up) or "Duck Dodgers in the 24 1/2 Century", both of which consist of us running around and defeating space pirates, vampires, or ghosts.

If I was hit by a bus tomorrow, I would be happy about how I lived my life. There have been a few books that have made a large impact on me, but this is the first time a TV show has done it.

And, to make sure the mood on the thread stays light, my second favorite show (and really the only other thing I have time to watch) is "Survivor"

Does anyone know what's going on with The Brotherhood of Poland New Hampshire as I see next week it isn't on either due to the Victoria's Secret "fashion show".

It hasn't been on in weeks and we are starting to miss seeing it.

Ahhhhhhhh. I have no idea kdjsc!! It's not been on now for 2 weeks and I hope they haven't cancelled it. It's way too good of a show. I can think of 8-10 that need to be cancelled!!

If anyone here's why Brotherhood hasn't been on...please post.

Unhappy

Sorry to break it to you, but it has been cancelled. Along with some others like "Coupling", "Skin", "Boomtown", "Luis", "L.A. Dragnet", and "Tarzan".

"Officially, the network said "Brotherhood" is on hiatus, but the future of the show from 20th Century Fox Television appears doubtful at best. After receiving a call from the network early Thursday afternoon, Kelley told the cast and crew that production would shut down immediately. The producers had just completed shooting the ninth episode; a total of five episodes aired since the Sept. 24 premiere. "
Later articles labeled it as officially cancelled.

Enterprise and Joe Millionaire are doing very poorly, so might be next to go.

Well, my personal opinion...for what it's worth...is that "Coupling", "Skin", "Boomtown", "Luis", "L.A. Dragnet", and "Tarzan", should be cancelled. They all suck. And Enterprise and Joe Millionaire should have never aired to begin with!!!

Brotherhood needs to be given a chance to find a fan base....it's very typical David Kelley....and very good.

JOAN OF ARCADIA!!

Joan of Arcadia, on Friday nights, is terrific! It has a wonderful cast, interesting characters, and a layered storyline with real human emotions--i.e. ambiguous, complex, rich--

I just caught it for the first time three weeks ago, and can't believe a show this good is on network tv.

If you haven't yet seen Arrested Development on Fox, give it a try. I'd like to say it's typical sick, twisted and outrageously funny Fox material, but it is way better than that. Produced (and narrated) by Ron Howard, it reminds me of a less-dark TV version of The Royal Tennenbaums.

I'd tell you what time it's on, but I've been on TiVo since 1999 and have lost all reasonable comprehension of TV scheduling! I think it airs right after Malcolm In The Middle...

Oh these networks! I get so upset with them they get rid of shows just as you get interested like John Doe, The Fugitive, Dark Angel and so many more. They leave you hanging at least they could show a final one or something or run the series late at night.

I'm very disappointed that The Brothehood of Poland New Hampshire could be canceled. There are very few good shows on these days worth watching. I did a little research and found this, not sure how valid it is though.

Status of Brotherhood
Brotherhood of Poland, New Hampshire, has been placed on hiatus by CBS. No permanent replacement has been announced, although 48 Hours and specials will air in the 10pm ET time slot for the time being. If you have objections and want the show back on, call (212)975-3247.

This season, I'm watching Joan of Arcadia (LOVE it), Survivor (though it's not really worth watching now that Rupert is gone, imho) and The OC.
