Question dishwasher ants

Imagine my surprise to open my dishwasher & see black ants. I sprayed, but figure I may have a larger problem. Any suggestions on which pest company to call?

There is some liquid ant bait at Lowes or Home Depot that you can put around the foundation of your home that should help. If your dishwasher isn't near an outside wall you may have some pipes behind or under the dishwasher that are letting them squeeze inbetween the pipe and your foundation or subfloor which may be a harder problem to treat.

Good luck!

We had a similar problem last year. I was told the ants come in for moisture. Are they just in your dishwasher or under it too? Get a good ant bait and put it under the dishwasher. Let them take the poison back to the whole colony, don't trt to kill each one you find. I kept trying to kill them all, which is sort of counterproductive I guess.
