How have others celebrated the day when their child receives the sacrament of Confirmation in the Catholic faith?

When I made my Confirmation, we had a small party with our relatives at our home afterwards.

Same here, usually invite your family and the godparents and sponsors too. have a small dinner if its around dinner time or jsut snacks otherwise then a cake. have fun planning it!
