Unhappy Sad day...

What a sad day in the neighborhood! I also grew up watching Mr. Rogers. My two children never expressed an interest in his shows, too many other programs to chose from. May he rest in peace knowing many children and adults around the world loved watching him.

Oh my goodness. Did he pass away? What a terribly sad day. I loved Mr. Rodgers growing up. He was such a wonderful person.

That is sad. Stomach cancer is a tough one at that age.

I was just coming to post this. Mr. Rogers is from my hometown. I watched him as a child, my daughter watched him and my grandson watched him so it is indeed a sad day for us. Our whole family grew up learning his values and enjoyed visiting his neighborhood each day. We all learned alot from him and he will be sadly missed here in Pittsburgh. Here's our local story about him. Fred Rogers

He was such a good man. I grew up on him and hopefully my kids will too. I actually found my eyes tearing up when I heard about it. I am so glad they still run his programs!

I'll miss Mr. Rogers, too. My step-daughter and I were talking about this at the end of the day and she said she almost started crying when she heard the news earlier in the day. He will be missed. He was such a gentle and good person.
