1800Flowers Suck
Remind me next time never to try a new flower vendor for valentine's day. Not only did the flowers arrive half-dead, a couple of stems were broken.
Sure looks like 1800 flowers and greatflower.com use the same crappy wholesalers. The best yet has been proflowers and i'm sticking with them from here on out.

If you are as unhappy as you say you are, you should definately contact 1800 flowers and let them know. My brother had a bad experience with them for Valentine's day and if they do what they say they are going to do, then they, in my eyes, will have redeemed themselves.
It seems that my brother ordered flowers for his wife to be delivered on 2-14, with GUARANTEED delivery. He ordered them Thursday afternoon (2-13) and the customer service rep said they'd be there by 5:30pm. Well guess what. No flowers. My brother called 1800 flowers at midnight and talked to Brandon, the on duty manager (maybe you should call and ask for him!). After talking (and I am emphasizing talking here!), this is what my brother is supposed to get out of the deal: 1. a phone call to his wife with an apology. 2. upgraded flowers 3. 50% off his bill 4. gift certificates from them Not too bad, but the day was ruined for him. I really think you should and talk it over with them. They really don't want unhappy customers because an unhappy customer does more damage than a happy customer.

i
did contact them and they said they will send a coupon for 20% of the purchase price. That's great except for the fact that their flowers will probably still suck.
