One of my far fetched thoughts was that who he picked doesn't want to be with him due to the lie so one of the other girls comes forward to take the others spot. Just a thought and what has been going through my mind (plus I have been thinking many other things too). They are really going to make us wait though as it is 2 hours next week.

I think he will pick Sarah, but Zora is who he really should pick. I think Sarah will agree to stay with him, because she doesn't want to look like she was after the money on national television. I suspect that she blew him off after the show/taping was over, and that he hooked up with Zora at that point. Many people think the "big suprise" is that he does have 50 million dollars after all, and he will admit this after he truly finds out that the woman really does like him for him and not the money. I guess we will find out next week!! I still can't believe that I watched the show and got caught up in it. What a guilty pleasure!!

Wouldn't it be funny if the "big surprise ending" turned out he was gay? LOL, just a thought. Seriously though, it'll either turn out he really is rich. Or whoever he picks will not want him and one of the other girls will come back and step in. I can't remember her name, but that one sure sounded like she was after the money more than anything since she was talking about how nice it would be to have that much money.

what if the big twist is.. the butler is the real millionaire?
I've seen this theory expressed by others on another board. They think that Evan was just a decoy to help Paul the Butler weed out the woman that is not after the money. These people site how Paul the Butler seems to heavily influence Evan's choices, and he is always watching the woman very carefully. LOL That would be a real plot twist.Another theory that I've seen is that he picks Sarah and she rebuffs him. He and Zora end up together and on the finale at the very end of the show Fox gives Evan and Zora a check for a very very large sum of money to start off their life together. I guess we will see.

I agree with the previous post. Whoever he picks will be really upset. They'll say it's because he lied... not because he's broke (uh..... sure).
So Joe will be all alone, and for the twist Fox will give him a couple of million. BTW, I think he'll pick "slurp, shhhh, gulp" Sarah. |

My thought is also that the Butler is the real milloniare. I thought that a while back and he is enjoying playign the buttler in his house.
I HOPE he picks Zora. she is just down to earth. and does not sounds like she is in it for hte money. |

I watched it and don't want to spoil anything for others in another time zone. But what did everyone think? Then to have it on again next week with the final interview is going to be great (I wanted the update tonight).

I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet but I'll just say I was very happy with his choice and with the little twist at the end. It will be interesting to see the follow up next week.

**SPOILERS BELOW**So don't read if you recorded the finale and didn't watch it yet!!
I guess it's safe to talk about the finale now.....
![]() Hubby and I were hooting and clapping when Sarah got "the word" - ohhh, she thought she SO had Evan in the bag! Since they called Zora to the study first, I really felt she was a goner. And then Evan's speech sounded like the start of the kiss-off - but surprise - she was the chosen one!! Zora seems very nice and I liked the $$ twist at the end- even though I think most of us were expecting something along that line. My fave part of the whole night was when Zora said his having money had kinda put her off - so it apparently was a relief to her to find out he didn't really have it afterall. I can't wait to see the follow-up and see how/if things have progressed with Evan and Zora.

I was so happy when Evan picked Zora! And I so thought he was leading up to dumping her. *phew* I had figured that the twist was going to be a money prize. But, here's a question for you ... would they have given the money to Evan and Sara, if she had been picked? Or would the producers just let Sara deal with the fact that he isn't rich? With Zora being the one chosen, it made for a more fairy tale story!
Gotta run, but I was happy with the ending! They were just two smiling dopes in love at the end! -Beth
