Pixter (fisher price)

I noticed that in Target's ad there was a Pixter by fisher price for 29.99. I don't know much about them but my 6 year old son loves to write and draw. He loves our magnadoodle.

I was wondering if anyone has one and can give me any information on it or the additional accessories and programs.

Thanks for any help you can give me!

The only reviews I've read have been parent reviews on amazon. According to amazon, they don't stand up to use very well. Apparently the screen messes up. If anyone knows first hand, I'd love to hear your review, because I have a 4 1/2 yr old that thinks she can't live without one.

Thanks for the info and the web site. I will have to do a little research. I already bought it. $30.00, I did't think that the price was too bad. My only concern is that it might not be age appropriate for my 6 year old son. I just hope that it is fun!!He could use a "quiet" toy for car trips and school bus!!

Thanks for the web site Kathy! Thanks blc75 for the info on the screen. If I find out anything more about it I will post it!

Thanks again!!!

We have it...

I bought them for my sons last year for Christmas. They are now 8 and 6. My eight yr old, who likes drawing more, loves his. My 6 yr old isn't as interested. But, like all toys, they go through phases. They are a bit heavy for airplane travel, but perfect for the car...
