I have never seen it in the spray form but our building supply stores around here sell it in cans like normal paint.....Also another idea they also sell magnetic paint....that would be neat one on each side....I have a plain wood screen already I just may have to try it.....Thanks....Will let you know if and when I do it....

How cute!!
On one side....One third Chalkboard, one third Magnetic, one third Corkboard. On the reverse side. make it match the Child's room...either covered with matching Fabric to their bedspread or curtains, or painted design...so when the room is tidied up....you can turn it around and have a wonderful matching furniture piece. Or, do the backside as a 'dressing area' to encourage and teach them to keep their things hung up...put a mirror on the middle and hanging hooks on the two sides. The ideas are endless.

This has gotten so exciting! Told my husband to check this thread out and see what he thinks! Hi hon!
I'm really excited about doing this! Love the matching the room idea! I have tons of fabric left from doing the room! And boy did I have a laugh - I'm glad you have no odor Lisfedele! Some typos are just funny! "I did not have an odor and it really dried quickly! " HeHeHe! |

Hi bognrin,
If you make this be sure to take some pix. It should be easy to make. Even the wood frame could be made easily. Another Idea would be on the 'magnetic' panel..to make assorted 'games'... Tic Tac Toe....you could make little 'bean bags' out of the fabric..glue a nice magnet on the inside. Pin the tail on the Donkey..(or Pig...etc) Take some felt pieces, cut into big tails and glue them to a big magnet. Darts...make some smaller 'bean bags' with magnets that they can lightly toss towards a target. There are all kinds of things you could do..that would be Fun, Educational, teach them great Eye/Hand coordination..etc. Don't forget you can buy or make a set of magnetic Alphabet and numbers...and do all kinds of games with them. You could use washable chalk to draw out the various games....and then wash them off when they want to play something different.

I had to think about this because there are only 2 sides, but i see what you mean. The third panel could be a dry marker board which, I beleive, can be had at Home depot.
Or what about a pegboard to hang stuff on...Or some soft wood with a fabric cover on it (to match decor), and use it like the cork board idea mentioned earlier. They all sound like good ideas!
