??

I was just curious how we are classified as members? like Jr member, member or senior member etc.... i always thought it was due to # of posts but i see some with senior status with less numbers of posts then i have. its not really a big deal, i was just curious so i thought i would ask.

After 10 posts, and at least 10 days, you can change your title to anything you want. That could be how some with fewer posts have a higher "member status" than you have... they could have altered their title. It also might be a bug from the early days when we used a different forum software.

By default the titles are by number of posts:
Junior Member - 0-30
Member - 30-100
Senior Member - 100+

As a side note, I looked at your account and it does look like you should be a "Senior Member" but your account is flagged as using a custom title. I am not sure if you set that by mistake at some point and it made your title "stick" or what. Just visit your user cp to (re)set your title.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for asking that question, I have also wondered that, but never got around to asking or researching.
