Back by popular demand....AGAIN!

I know I had a good time predicting the member being voted off each week with the last series and I'd like to keep up the tradition this time. Also, I'm curious as to how anticipated this season is for each of you.

Since we have NO idea what's going to happen the first week (starts 9/19) and we haven't met the players much, I think it we'll just have to take a wild random guess at who gets voted out.

So everyone, let's get started and see who can guess most accurately each week! You should also give a reason for your answer. We're going to tally up the predictions each week and determine a winner at the end of the season with the most correct predictions and give them an ultra-secret PRIZE that you'll surely LOVE! ($50 CASH)

(Quick rules: You have to vote each week before showtime in any timezone and you may not edit your posts in this thread whatsoever, although you may post a 2nd time to change your mind. Person with the most correct guesses by the end of the season is the winner! Also, a reason/opinion SHOULD be given for your guess but we're not going to exclude your vote if you don't. Violation of rules nullifies your guess for that week. In case of multiple winners, the prize will be split so join the game early!)

Are the names of the tribes listed on the Survivor Web site? I can't find them there.

I didnt realize there was anything on the cbs site either for teams as it was going to be hush hush. can you post the direct link, i couldnt find it? I am looking fwd to play! so each week we have to chose a specific person from ONE tribe that is to be voted off or one person from each tribe? I understand the first week we are allowed to just chose the tribe that will lose a member.

Apparently this time they're not telling who's on what tribe before the game starts (I believe they did in past games) so for the first week we're just going to have to take a wild guess at who gets voted out. I've modified the game rules to reflect this.

Ok, I am going to cast my vote for Erin. I really don't have a good reason, only that she seems to me to be weak, based on her discription. I could be wrong. We shall see. Anyway, Happy Survivor Day everyone! I am really looking forward to tonight.

Okay I am gonna vote for SHIIANN. I don't really have a good explanation as to why I am voting for her other than I think she looks kinda grumpy. Man some of those people look really good for their age. Two of those ladies were much older than what I thought!

I think I'm going to vote for Clay. In general, the older folks don't seem to last very long. And his bio doesn't include any physical activity, so I'm not sure he'll prove himself worthy in the challenges.

I can't make up my mind between Clay or Jan. This is hard because we haven't "met" them yet.

I think I'm going to go with Clay. I agree with Dawnbreaker that he doesn't seem physically active.

I haven't finished reading all the bio's yet...so will post my vote in a little bit...but a 'heads up'....

From some things that have been said on some shows..and little hints I saw Jeff Probst give in interviews...for the first time ever...the 16 will be divided into their two tribes.....But it will be '8 MEN against the 8 WOMEN' this time....that's the talk on the street...so just giving you that info. Which would really be 'awesome' because we know the women will kick the mens butts!

it is so hard to place a vote today as we know nothing except their bios.

My vote is for Shii Ann. my reason for it is simply a guess but from her bio she doesnt seem into many sports or outdoorsy activities.

My vote is for Helen. Since she's a Navy swim instructor, I figure she'll bark out enough orders on the first day to tick everyone off!

I VOTE FOR ERIN. HER BIO DIDN'T EXACTLY SEEM UP TO PAR FOR A SURVIOR. WHO KNOWS MAYBE SHE IS.

My vote (which can't win) goes for Jan. I think she's the oldest/weakest of the women players and if it's true that it may be women against men then I'd guess the women may lose the first immunity challenge. And if the women lose, I don't think Jan would be as big of asset as some of the other players. She's older, and not really physically active being a teacher. She may also be bossy since she's a teacher.

hmmm... i think i'm going to vote john. i think he'll be booted 'cause he might get too preachy. during the first week they usually vote off someone annoying/unliked if no one seems to be REALLY weak.
