I wont be back to this site
I have posted a message on 2 or 3 message boards introducing myself and noone has replied to me. I would think the administrator or someone would have welcomed me or made me feel as though my post had at least been read and that what I had to say mattered. I just dont see why I would bother coming back when noone seems to reply C-YA!

I'm really sorry that happened. We try to reply and greet all the new people! I tried to find your other posts to see why we all missed them but I guess I am still missing them! We really are a friendly group so if you decide to stay and play we'd love it!

Oh please don't leave. You'll miss out on sooooo many bargains if you do. I'm sure the staff here is so busy finding us all these great deals that they just don't have time to resond to each post individually. But I'm also sure they appreciate every one who posts here. Give it another try. I love this site and I'm sure you will too.

Yes please do stick around. I'm sorry we can't respond to everyone's posts, but all of us do read every single one of them and try to respond to as many as we can. We are really glad all the new people are coming and we'd love for you and everyone else to keep coming back and enjoy the bargains, free stuff and friendships you'll make here.

Since the magazine article hit, we had literally several hundred new people join each day last week. Many of them introduced themselves but it would have been virutally impossible for each to get a personal welcome and response. That's why I posted a "Welcome Woman's World Readers" post so that everyone would be welcomed.
I'm very sorry that you felt overlooked. We very much welcome you to the site.

You know, I think it's kind of funny that this issue was brought up. I was recently thinking how much time and effort members put into welcoming the newbies.
In fact, I was getting a bit irritated for a while there...it seemed like for a week, there were no actual deals posted in the great catches forum, just "Hi, I'm new" type of things!  I know that for me personally, the reason I didn't post welcome replies is that I didn't want to bump the posts up so that others would have to scroll through them again. I thought it was a great idea that Maggie had, to put one big friendly welcome thread at the top. I enjoyed hearing from the new members, but it did get too overwhelming with all the groovy new people starting separate threads. I didn't check the forum for days till the hubbub died down a bit. BUT, it was great that they felt comfy enough to jump right in and introduce themselves! Don't feel too embarrassed. This is the nicest bunch of folks ever. I can think of half a dozen website forums that would have jumped all over your posting, and you'd have to put on your asbestos undies to keep the flames away. But I've never seen anyone here be evil that way. Anyways, welcome, and sorry, didn't mean to write a novel.
