Labyrinth, followed closely by The Neverending Story.
I have lots of other "favorites", too, but those are my all-time top 2.

Two that I really enjoyed are O Brother Where Art Thou and The Green Mile....and of course, one of my all time favorites, Shawshank Redemption!
One that I'm more embarassed to admit to watching several times was Dumb and Dumber. For whatever reason, that movie got funnier every time I saw it. There are probably more that I can't think of....

Favorite movie of all time? How about movieS!! There are way too many!!
For starters, I LOVE the movie BIG. Tom Hanks is sooo awesome in that!! Don't forget My Cousin Vinny ("What's a yewt??") Any of the Back to the Future movies. Grease is way up there too. It's so funny, one of my faves will be on TV and my DH will say, "We have that on video/dvd, why are you watching it on TV?" Can't help myself, I just love 'em too much!!

I'm not sure what my favorite movie is but Twelve Monkeys would be way up there. Probably the most life-changing movie I ever saw was Midnight Cowboy which I saw as a kid but this would be quite dated now. There are lots of movies I would like to see but somehow I never get around to it. When I was in my late teens and early twenties, I saw movies every week, and you would think with today's video stores, it would be even easier to keep up with the movies (video stores replaced the old repertory theaters of my day) but somehow you get older and start rushing around all the time. I got hubby a DVD player and tickets for 20 DVD rentals for Christmas, so we are getting caught up a little. He has already seen a lot of movies though, as he was big on going to movies when I had to travel a lot.

here's my addition
Got to be.... BLAZING SADDLES, HIGH ANXIETY and YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. (Mel's a god!)
Of course anything with the Marx Brothers ranks up there pretty high with me. (Bet that's not a surprise to anyone who's read my quote)

oh definately Grease~!
The Princess Bride, Casablanca, Usual Suspects and Good Will Hunting... And I hate to admit I have probably watched American Pie (complete trash!) about 10 times. I saw ET again the other night. While not a favorite- I certainly enjoyed it quite a bit more this time around.
