Smile Let it snow, let it snow!!

Wow. I went to bed last night with light rain and woke up today to 6-8 inches of the white powdery stuff. I love snow! But I'd like it better with a snow shovel and passable roads.

All four of our children are with grandma or with the ex-husband so my husband and I actually have a whole weekend alone.

Too bad I didn't stock up on food ahead of time!

Smile

I too went to bed last night with nothing on the ground (no rain) and woke up to about the same. Fortunately for us here in the Chicagoland area, we are used to it and the roads were only wet and very passable. March definitely came in like a lion!! Let it go out like a lamb.....hey it should, Easter is on the last day of the month!!

Unfortunately we weren't able to send our kids away, but hey, that's okay!

We had rain last night and this morning. I heard the forecast (and that Tulsa had been dumped on!) and went to Blockbuster for a couple of videos and the grocery store (I just went yesterday, but being compulsive like I am, I just had to go ).

My hubby is working today. He called me a few minutes ago and asked me what I thought of this...I said "What?" - he told me to look outside. I told him it was raining. He was incredulous...he's only 15 miles west of home and he said they've gotten at least 3 inches of snow in the last half an hour ! He also said it was blowing and people were pulled over on the road b/c the visibility was so bad. He couldn't believe it hadn't started here yet. As I was talking to him, the snow flakes started. I just looked outside and they are really coming down and finally starting to stick!

My kids are at their dads as well....hubby and I were planning on going out tonight...but being snowed in isn't such a bad thing either!

BRRRRR!!!

We had a ton of rain yesterday but I'd say it's about 65 degrees out right now. I've only seen snow once in 11 years at my present location and that's plenty for me!!! Hope ya'll are keeping cozy by the fire!

We are having breautiful weather here in western washington. sunshine and 54 degrees. I actually went to a garage sale today, got so inspired by it. I set some furniture out in from of my garage that i wanted to sell and sold it. I'm so thinking about setting some more stuff out tomorrow. we're suppose to have another beautiful day. Sorry to rub it in, i can't wait for spring and summer time.

Peachfront and tutter - you are lucky! This kind of hit out of nowhere...we've been in the 50's and 60's for a while. Last week, we went from 70 degrees one day to 30 the next!

The good news is that by Tuesday we're supposed to be back into the upper 50's....it's just going to be so soggy!

Here's your snow and a bunny too!

FiSh,

Here's some snow to show you and a little bunny my 5 year old Emilee and I concocted this afternoon. Nothing like that fireman and angel, but for novice artists, I'd like to think not too shabby!

She's beautiful, Paulina. You should be very proud. I love the bunny too! You both did a fantastic job.

Started snowing in Wisconsin Friday night and when it stopped 28 hours later we have 7-8" on the ground, more than half the snow we got all winter long, LOL! It's very cold right now even with the sun out, but the temps are supposed to be in the 40's by the end of the week ~ go figure!

We just stayed in, too many idiots on the road who *think* they can drive in snow, LOL!

Snow off and on!!!

It's been snowing off and on since yesterday, here in The Springfield, OR. valley, but probably not as much as you guy's got.
(Why use a corkscrew, when you can unscrew the bottle cap).
